Matthew S. BrusseauDirector of Bands - Email Me
Mr. Brusseau is the Director of Bands at Davie County High School where he serves as the Conductor of the Davie High School Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, War Eagle Regiment, Jazz Ensembles, coordinating small ensembles, and solo performances. Mr. Brusseau is a graduate of Appalachian State University where he received his Master of Music Performance in Conducting and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education. While at both Universities, Mr. Brusseau performed in many ensembles. Mr. Brusseau's professional affiliations include the National Association for Music Education, North Carolina Music Educators Association, the National Band Association, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Kappa Kappa Psi, and Phi Kappa Lambda. In his time away from school, Mr. Brusseau loves spending time with his wife Kara and dog Molly. |
