BAND BOOSTER UPDATE

COVID GUIDELINES FOR BAND CAMP - posted 07/26/20
-Students should not share water bottles and will not receive water from a communal source. Students must provide their own water for band camp.
-All students must maintain 6 feet between one another.
-Avoid sharing of any equipment when possible (i.e. percussion mallets, sticks, and accessories). Any equipment that has to be shared must be cleaned and disinfected before and after each use.
-Everyone must wear a mask at all times. When possible, a mask with a small slit for the mouthpiece should be worn while playing.
-Students should report to practices and rehearsals in proper attire and immediately return home to change clothes and shower at the end of each session.
-Wash hands often and for a minimum of 20 seconds
-Anyone with signs or symptoms of illness must stay home
-Parents must stay in cars
-Temperature checks and screenings will start thirty minutes prior to the beginning of your schedule rehearsal time.
-Outdoor rehearsals are limited to no more than 25 people (including staff)
-Indoor rehearsals are limited to 10 people (including staff)
-Indoor rehearsals are limited to 45 minutes
-Outdoor rehearsals are recommended whenever possible.

Due to COVID guidelines, we will have an abbreviated version Marching Band Camp starting on Monday, August 3rd. We will meet by sections on the following schedule.
PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE ANY EARLIER THAN 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF YOUR SECTIONS REHEARSAL. We must have time to clean and sanitize the areas before other groups arrive.
