ALL-DISTRICT BAND AUDITIONS - posted 1/4/18
We will be leaving from Davie High School bus lot at 8:00AM on Saturday morning via activity bus. We will stop for breakfast on our way to Central Davidson. Registration begins at 10AM and the auditions begin shortly after. Students may be dropped off by parents at Central Davidson HS if they do not wish to ride the bus. Students may also be picked up at Central Davidson HS after they have completed the audition or they may ride the activity bus home. EVERY STUDENT that is not riding the bus back to Davie HS MUST sign-out with Edwin in the Central Davidson HS Cafeteria before they can leave.
For the auditions, you will need...
- INSTRUMENT - Everything you need to care for your instrument (extra reeds, slide oil etc.)
- MUSIC - All music and scale sheets you need for warm-up and practice. The only things you may take
into the audition room are your instrument and your copy of the solo. Scales must be memorized.
- MONEY - You may want to bring money for breakfast and lunch ($10-$15 for each). You may also bring your own food if you wish.
- CLOTHES - As representatives of Davie High School you need to dress nicely. No T-Shirts or shorts

MARCHING BAND BANQUET - posted 1/4/19
The 2018 Marching Band Banquet will be Thursday evening, January 24th at Davie High School. The meal will be in the DHS Cafeteria followed by awards and presentations in the DHS Auditorium. Just a reminder that all uniforms were due back to the band room BEFORE winter break. If any student still has their uniform at home, their name will be turned in to the office and added to the student debts list.

2019 BAND TRIP NEWS - updated November 2nd, 2018
IT'S NOT TOO LATE!!! Due to the overwhelming number of students and parents that have signed-up for the trip to London and Paris, the travel company has re-OPENED enrollment. Enrollment will be closed permanently once we reach the 82 passenger mark and we're closing up on that number quickly! Don't miss out on this awesome opportunity!
