As we are now under 5 days away from Germany and Austria, it is time to make sure everything is in order for our trip!
Below is some additional information you need to know for the trip and notes from our Q and A session at our meeting on October 28th.

Questions & Answers:
Q: Can we bring over the counter medications?
A: Yes. Make sure they are in original containers. Try to have
small, travel size, bottles/packets for your carry-on.
Q: What is the weight/size limit on luggage?

Q: Do students need their instruments on this trip?
A: No, they do not.
Q: Can we earn frequent flyer miles on an EF Trip?
A: No. Due to the agreement between EF and Airline partners.
Q: Will we be served snacks / drinks / a meal on the plane?
A: Yes. On trans-Atlantic flights you can expect both hot & cold drinks,
snacks (pretzels) and a meal.
Q: Can we use luggage locks?
A: No & Yes. You CANNOT use them on your baggage on flights (TSA will
cut them off) however, you can keep a lock on them while they are on
the buses or in the hotels.
Q: Should we have traveler's checks?
A: No. Many places have stopped accepting traveler's checks. Cash and
Global Check Cards are recommended.
Q: How do students contact home?
A: It is recommended that students only use cell phones in the US before
we take-off and upon our return to Charlotte after we land.
A: WiFi is available in each of our hotels. Students can use wifi enabled
devices to communicate back home.
Q: What if I need to contact my child on the trip?
A: Contact EF's 24 hour customer service and they will contact the
student for you.
Q: Will students have to have an adult with them during free-time?
A: Yes. Students should always be in the presence of an accompanying
