The Wind Ensemble is the most prestigious concert organization of the Davie band program and is mainly comprised of juniors, seniors and honors band students whose musical commitment is the performance of the finest wind band music. Open by audition only to wind and percussion instrumentalists, Wind Ensemble seeks to enhance and encourage each student's understanding of musical concepts and terms with an emphasis on rehearsals and performances combined with group methods and instruction.

The Marching Band is the heart and soul of Davie High school spirit. We work hard each week to promote War Eagle pride at varsity football games to ensure each game night is filled with energy and fun.

The Symphonic Band is made up of students from tenth through twelfth grades. The music literature of this group is of recognized quality, primarily focused on grades IV and V. The Symphonic Band performs two concerts and combines with the Concert Band in the Spring semester for performance at State Band Festival.

The Concert Band class is made up exclusively of freshmen band students. The literature studied in this group is of recognized quality and is focused in grades III and IV. The Concert Band performs two concerts and combines with the Symphonic Band in the Spring semester for performance at State Band Festival.

The Davie High Jazz Ensemble is an after school ensemble open by audition only to all band students. The Jazz Band hosts a charity concert in December and the annual "Evening of Jazz" in May which is an evening of jazz music and a dessert buffet, including wonderful desserts prepared by some of the finest bakers and chefs in Davie County.
